Born in China, Nick Zhang moved to California at the age of 16. His love for films led him to study Film and Digital Media, Narrative Production concentration at University of California, Santa Cruz.

Having a combined education from both Eastern and Western cultures , Nick is passionate about utilizing his knowledge of arts from both cultures to create an artistic style of his own. He aims to blend narrative cinematography techniques into his commercial work and is dedicated to representing various identities through his images.
